We are making this data available on our website.MH&W International offers solutions to Industry in the areas of magnetics materials, thermal interphase and high power capacitors. MH&W’s magnetics offerings are primarily centered on TDK Corp products. However in the event that TDK does not offer a solution, MH&W has alternate contacts to insure our customers can complete their designs. As an example, TDK has recently discontinued manufacture of the EE5 core, specifically in the PC44 and H5C2 materials with no replacement at the same cost structure, even from their sistem division, Epcos. MH&W has located a suitable substitute coming from a known ferrite manufacturer in China. We have arranged special pricing and we will be bringing product in for stock in the U.S. to insure our customers do not go into a line down situation.

This data includes, as an example, PC95 power losses measured at a frequency of over 400KHz, giving our customer the ability to look at power ferrite material operating at 500KHz and 1MHz.
High Power Capacitors – Ultracaps: High power capacitors are characterized by very short charge time and very short discharge time with no damage to the capacitor. We are looking at capacities in the Farads, in fact the limit is now above 3,000 Farads. This is a lot of power that can be dumped quickly into a circuit. Invision a car radio where the song being played calls for a large amount of bass going to the speakers. This requires a large amount of power being fed into the audio amp in miliseconds; this is what ultracapacitors do.
