Late 2013 MH&W featured a corporate wide competition about the Use of Ferrites in Innovative Applications.
The Idea
Tap into the creativity and knowledge not only of our Sales and Engineering Team, but everybody within MH&W, to explore new and innovative applications of ferrites not yet defined, designed or established .
The Results
The results were very encouraging leading to conceptual designs in power conversion and filter applications.
Using the theme of the competition some members actually used ferrite cores as building blocks for outside the box designs, crafting pieces of art related to ferrites. This experience we would like to share with you.
One of the pieces, a boat signifying the transfer of ferrites from our offshore manufacturers to our onshore warehouses. Another piece: The MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in honor of Super Bowl XLVIII.
