EPCOS develops, manufactures and markets electronic components, modules and systems, focusing on fast-growing leading-edge technology markets, which include automotive electronics, information and communications technology, industrial electronics and consumer electronics. A broad product portfolio and truly global presence have made EPCOS a global market leader in products that account for 60 percent of our sales. A further 35 percent is generated by products in which we are the number one in Europe.

EPCOS consistently stands for superlative electronic performance. Approximately 21,200 employees at over 20 design and production locations and a tightly meshed sales network give us a genuine global footprint. We serve our customers with some 800 sales professionals, around half of whom are engineers and technical experts.

Ferrites

Ferrite cores of innovative design made from new materials - many of them developed to customer specifications - create a host of competitive advantages. EPCOS' unique and broad competence in ferrite cores is based on sophisticated materials expertise, high-precision manufacturing of advanced core geometries, and a comprehensive program of matching accessories. New standard products for mass markets can thus be developed from customer-specific solutions.
